No, passing was off. Setter was limited in what he could do and could not give as good sets. We went hot and cold depending on how the passing was. Just a terrible day all around.

Ok - but now explain the substitutions vs Penn State and UCI.

BYU choked in all 3 sets - especially 2 and 3.
And still managed to keep each one close. Setter was the weakest spot. Patch went cold. Blockers doubled and tripled Sanders. Nobody else stepped up.

Great season, though.

BYU plays for the NC twice on Saturday. I am not sure if anyone has ever played for a NC twice on the same day.

Just two years ago, the lacrosse and rugby teams played for the NC on the same day, but rugby fell to Cal.
